Any fellow Multipliers and bloggers alike who read my last post, there's no other words that I could use than the 4-letter F-word. Same when I coin the term
Telebuwakanashit for the first time, as a reference to GMA-7's
Telebabad block. Believe me on this...
Now, on the topic. Since Japan's TV Asahi can't allow the Kapuso Network the right to remake
Shaider, the Kapuso Jerks decide to change the title, for its October offering, aptly named
Pulis Pangkalawakan (Descendants of Shaider), and I'm not referring to Kala's OPM single.
Faux pas for Kapuso Network, perhaps?
Well, maybe. According to an article posted on the
Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph), TV Asahi can't give the green light to GMA-7 to create a local version of
Shaider here, so they've decided to change the title, but the same role goes to that no-good son of a bitch in the form of Marky Cielo. Kris Bernal still retains the role of Annie, but does she have the guts to show her undies? Only time will tell. And there's more: Dennis Trillo and Raymart Santiago are also in the fray, allegedly taking the roles of two other Space Sheriffs, Gavan and Sharivan. John Lapus, the "Sweet Faggot", is also there, playing the transvetite Ida, granddaughter of the villain Fuuma Le-ar.
And oh, let's not forget who will direct this one. It's Dominic Zapata, the same motherfucking asshole who directed the Sailormoon-Amazing Twins rip-off
Super Twins.
